IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All appointments need to be secured with a credit card on the date you make your reservation.

There will be no transaction held on the card before your appointment date. We kindly ask that any changes and cancellations be made 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel, please do so earlier than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. *Late cancellations/ or No-shows will be subject to a non-refundable fee of 50% of the booked service.

Courtesy reminders via text and email are sent out 72 hours prior to your service .

  • Please notify us of your desire for an adjustment as soon as possible after your visit so that we may promptly schedule your return visit within this time period. We will honor an adjustment within 7 days. All adjustments are performed by the stylist who originally performed your services.

  • PLEASE NOTE Any additional services rendered apart from the adjustment of your original service(s) will be charged at their regular price(s). Payment for additional services is due at the time of your adjustment.

  • Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services performed. *NO EXCEPTIONS* If for any reason you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us immediately so that we can remedy the situation.

  • KIDS CUTS: Some of our stylists can accommodate children’s haircuts, but we are unable to provide services for children under 5 years of age.

SPECIALTY COLOR

COLOR CORRECTION

Must be booked by beginning with a complimentary consultation. Hourly rates for this work start at $100.

Specialty Color

Advanced color work, extreme changes, and multi-stage processes within one visit will incur a la carte pricing. Don’t worry, your technician will clearly define your goals and costs before you get started. We need to start with a complimentary consultation. Just give us a call.


WEDDING PARTIES

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with a credit card. Any cancellations not made before two weeks of the scheduled date will result in being charged the FULL amount of booked services.  A 20% gratuity charge will be added to all wedding party services.  For more information check our WEDDINGS page.


PRODUCTS

100% GUARANTEE! If you are unsatisfied for any reason with a hair product you purchased at WINK, we will happily exchange it or offer store credit for another hair product (excluding services) within 15 days of the purchase. Store credits can only be applied to other hair products and not to salon services. We will accept returns if the product is 3/4 or more full. All sale items are FINAL sales. We do not offer exchanges or store credit on any sale or discounted retail items.


ARRIVAL

To ensure promptness for all our guests please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.  We want to make sure that we have time to serve you well and want to protect you and the stylist's time. Please arrive on time and let us know if you’re going to be late. Don’t text and drive! We will do everything to accommodate you if you are late and if you’re REALLY late 20 minutes or more, please know that we may have to reschedule your appointment.


PETS

We happily allow service animals to accompany their partner while visiting our salon. Animals or pets of any other kind are against regulations of the state of NC. Fines may be billed to any guest who opts to go against this state regulation.


CELL PHONES

We are an ‘unplugged’ salon. For the courtesy of other guests we ask that you take calls outside. Please do not use speaker phone or watch videos at full volume on your device when you are in the salon.

However, we do understand the need to work occasionally while you’re getting your glam on. Please ask us for the WiFi password.


PAYMENT

WINK accepts AMEX, Visa, MasterCard and Discover; as well as cash and debit cards.

Wink does not accept checks as payment - You may tip your stylist with a check (made out directly to the stylist)


GIFT CERTIFICATES

WINK Gift Certificates are available all year and expire one year after the purchase date.


GRATUITIES

Our stylists graciously accept gratuity by credit card (through a third party app TIPPY), cash, or check (please write a separate check directly to the stylist).

We are a high volume salon and we do our very best to answer each phone call promptly. If we do not answer the phone, we are either on the other line or with another client.  We ask that you leave a detailed message and we will get back to you by the end of the business day.
