Bleach & Tones, Corrective Color, Creative Color, Keratin Treatments, and Extensions cannot be booked online as they are complicated processes that require a consultation prior to booking. Consultations with us are always complimentary and can be booked by calling the front desk directly.

  • Online Booking: Our online booking system is up and running! This is the easiest and quickest way to secure your spot.

  • Phorest Messaging: Chat directly with your stylist through the Phorest app.

  • Text or Call the Salon Line: Feel free to reach us at 828-277-4070, though response times (we have a part-time receptionist ) might be a bit slower but we are on the phones and messages!

  • Instagram Direct Message (DM) for your stylists: . And if you’re wondering what “DM” means, don’t worry—you’re not alone. It just means "Direct Message."

Online booking is available for certain stylists.

We are not able to accommodate haircuts for children under 5 years old, and children in the salon must be accompanied at all times.

PLEASE Read our cancelation policy throuroughly

  • We reserve all appointments with a credit card

  • We do not accept personal checks as payment for services, only for tips (made out directly to the stylist)

  • We kindly ask that any changes and cancellations be made 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Late cancellations will be subject to a fee of 100% of the booked service. Late arrivals (over 15 minutes) are also subject to a no-show fee and rescheduling, clients will be accommodated with a shorter service when possible for the stylist.

  • All guests who cancel within the 24-hour cancellation or whom “no call/no show” to any appointment will be required to leave a 50% deposit for one of their future services. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation within the requested 24-hour time frame.

  • At Wink Asheville, we value our clients and respect our stylists’ time. Our cancellation policy ensures fairness and consistency for both parties. Please review our updated policy regarding last-minute cancellations, including those due to illness.

    • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice due to illness will be charged 50% of the booked service as a courtesy.

    • No-shows or same-day cancellations,cancellations with less than 24 hours will be charged 100% of the booked service to compensate for the stylists’ reserved time.

    • If you are feeling unwell, please notify us as early as possible. We understand that illness can be unpredictable, but last-minute cancellations significantly impact our business and our team.

    Why This Policy? While we want our clients to stay home when they are sick, we also need to ensure our stylists are compensated for their time. Our illness policy provides a fair middle ground, reducing last-minute gaps in the schedule while being understanding of true emergencies.

    Our stylists rely on their scheduled appointments for their income, and when a last-minute cancellation occurs, that time cannot always be filled. Just as we would never expect you to show up to work and not be paid, we believe in fairness for our team. Our cancellation policy ensures that our stylists are compensated for their time while still being understanding of true “emergencies."


    Booking Considerations

  • All service adjustments/edits must be performed within 7 days . Please let us know, your happiness is important to us.

  • If you are a new client to WINK and want to schedule a Color or Custom Curl service, we highly encourage you to contact us directly so we can ensure you will be accommodated with the correct timing. Please do your best to explain exactly what you need during your visit.

  • All prices listed on Phorest Software are a starting point; same on our Services page. Once you ‘Request To Book’ the prices will then reflect the Stylist level (see different levels on our Team page). For specific questions about pricing, please call the Salon directly.

  • Please note that Student Services are not bookable online- call or text and we will secure an appointment for you.

  • Excessively long or thick hair

    Have a gorgeous head of long, thick hair? That’s amazing! We love working with all hair types and textures, and we want to ensure that every client receives the time, attention, and care they deserve.

    To keep our pricing fair and our services running smoothly, we apply a surcharge for extra length and density in certain services. This helps cover the additional time and products needed to give you the best results.

    Additional Product Costs

    Long or thick hair requires more product—whether it's color, treatments, or styling products. Instead of applying a blanket charge, we price based on actual usage. If we need extra color, toner, or treatment product, an additional charge will be applied.

    Additional Time Considerations

    Long, dense hair takes extra time to wash, dry, and style. While we love creating beautiful hair, we also have to account for the extra time needed. Our stylists adjust their schedules to give every client the right amount of attention, and additional time means an adjusted price.

    Here’s a general guideline for how density impacts service time:

    • Thick hair – May require 10-15 extra minutes

    • Very thick hair – May require 20-30 extra minutes

    • Extremely thick hair – May require 30-45 extra minute
